Marinade for vegetables2021 07 02
1 l water
1 tbsp salt
4 tbsp sugar
100 g Bajoriškių food grade acetic acid (9%)
Spices (bay leaves, peppercorns, mustard seeds, etc.)
Method of preparation:
Put the above ingredients in a saucepan. When the water boils and the salt and sugar dissolve, the marinade is ready. Rinse the jars, heat in the oven. Add the vegetables and pour in the marinade. Screw on the lids and leave to cool at room temperature. Transfer to a cool place and serve with your favourite dish whenever you like. Tip: If you are preparing asparagus, cover them in a jar with hot water and leave to cook until the marinade is ready. Then drain the water and pour in the marinade. Bon appetite!
